I'm pretty new when it comes to digital mixers and when tackling a powerhouse such as StudioLive Series III 64S, a visual aid is crucial to get your head around it. This toturial makes the initial learning curve a whole lot easier.
I particulary appreciated that the tutorial included DAW-mode, as I use this mixer exclusively in a studio environment.
I can highly recommend it, especially if you are new to digital mixer and/or the Studiolive Series III.
Our group, Blátt Gras, just purchased a Presonus studiolive series iii 32s mixing desk. I have been looking for a “walk through” course for this board, and i found it here.
Thank you very much! I will definitely buy another course.
While I think the Presonus hardware is awesome, their documentation is not. I was thrilled when I found David's StudioLive III tutorial (I purchased David's DVD for the Roland Juno-G a few years back, it quickly got me up to speed with the Juno.)
His StudioLive III tutorial does not disappoint! He covers pretty much everything in-depth: the mixer, stageboxes, earmixes, software, recording... while he is demonstrating everything about the products, he offers great advice explaining different situations you are likely to encounter, and when/why you would do something.
There's a lot to digest. Watch the entire video to get the big picture of what is possible, then go back to the specific things you need to work on. The Presonus system is really user friendly and easy to use, once you've been properly shown how it works. This video tutorial will quickly get you where you want to be, and will save you many hours of frustration.
Didn’t cover many recording studio issues
Very easy to follow easy to understand.
Very informative....highly recommend viewing....I even learned some things that I didn't know about....
David does such a great job walking through the Persons StudioLive Series III board that he saved dozens of hours of trying to piece together a training manual for our volunteer church staff! We couldn’t be happier and plan on using more ProAudioExp products in the future.
While I have used Presonus Studio Live III desk for a while now, unless you're some sort of fanatic (I'm not!) then you never really get to use all of the features... mainly because you simply don't know them well enough. I found that the training videos I bought from ProAudioEXP take you through loads of features of the desk in a simple and easy way and many that previously were a little vague are now much easier to understand. StudioLive III is a really cool desk I use in my studio and with the advent of Studio One V5 I wanted to learn more about the desk. I was not disappointed at all really and David and friends take you through the whole shebang from start to finish. Importantly for me they cover most aspects of an AVB network too which I have in my studio. Overall I can recommend this training solution - you should try it - it helped me no end!
Right on point, everything you been looking for with no success on Youtube, you find right here on this tutorial, very well explained...I would purchase again and I highly recommend.
David’s courses are always great. This is the 4th one I have purchased and it didn’t disappoint.
I’m always amazed how he knows his way around so many studios and control surfaces.
