Blues Cube Hot – Slamming New Guitar Amp

The Blues Cube Hot is Roland’s new powerful compact combo with 30 watts of power and a 12-inch speaker. The latest model of the Blues Cube guitar amp series is not only great for home and studio use, it also delivers plenty of volume for any gig!

Similar to all the other Blues Cube amps, the Blues Cube Hot features Roland’s signature Tube Logic design, which provides authentic tube tone and touch response which provide advantages over its predecessors like lighter weight and maintenance-free operations.

The Blues Cube Hot might be the smallest amp in the Blue Cube line of Roland products, but just because it’s small doesn’t mean that it won’t pack a big punch. The easy-to-dial single-channel configuration provides a perfect platform with stomp boxes. One can create a variety of sounds via the Volume and Master knobs, ranging from sparkling clean to aggressive crunch. Also included is a three-band EQ with Boost and Tone switches for further tone shaping.

Because the Blues Hot Cube is lightweight and easy to carry, it offers ample power for any performance at any venue. The amp’s custom 12-inch speaker emits a rich, full voice enhanced with the amp’s classic open-back cabinet design and poplar construction.

The Blues Cube Hot features a variable power control that provides high-volume tube sound at low volume levels at settings of 0.5 W, 5 W, 15 W, and full power. The Blues Cube Hot’s variable power control works directly with the power supply that ensures great tones at low volume settings, a feature not unlike simple attenuators that affect an amp’s ultimate live sound and responsiveness.

The rear panel has jacks for remote control of the Boost and Tone functions via a footswitch such as the FS-6, FS-7, or FS-5U. The Line Out and Phones jacks both deliver direct tones, best for live PA mixers or for a more quiet practicing. It also features connectivity via USB, making capture record-ready tones directly into your favorite computer recording software all the easier!

Roland’s Tube Logic design for authentic tube tone and touch response are the main features of the Blues Cube Hot. It goes beyond simple modeling – the Tube Logic approach begins by reproducing the inner workings of the revered tweed-era tube guitar amps, including preamp and output tube distortion characteristics, power supply compression, speaker interaction, and more. For those who love the dialed-in vintage tube amps, they’ll also love the Blues Cube Hot!
