Excellent Tutorial!

I’ll admit freely that I am thoroughly impressed with this video tutorial for the QU Series Allen & Heath mixer. Video quality is excellent, great “hands on” view of the console during the various (and many) step-through training modules. I highly recommend this for anyone who owns a QU Series mixer. I’ve watched through completely once, and now browse back through to areas I wish to learn more about as I get more familiar with the mixer. Well done!

Allen and Heath Qu Series Video Tutorial (Qu-16, Qu-24, Qu-32, Qu-SB, Qu-Pac)

David, let me be the first to say that this course is awesome and well put together just as all your other courses. I’m a big fan of your courses. Every since I purchase my Qu-32 I’ve been all over the internet and YouTube gathering information to learn audio engineering and the Qu mixer better. Your course brings it all together in one awesome and neat package of knowledge and theory. This course has it all and is super easy to follow and hone my skills in my home studio. I have now purchased eight different courses from you and I have definitely benefited from all of them and I’m a better engineer. The material is clear, concise and easy to follow. I definitely recommend this course to anyone that needs to get up to speed on the Qu mixers. Many thanks to you for making me a more knowledgeable and better engineer.

Better than most, but....

Unfortunately, for those with some understanding of audio, this video tutorial did not adequately address areas where we have learning shortfalls, such as assigning mixes to specific physical outlets. And for those with little background, it is too complex -- something we found surprising.
There are three free tutorial series for the Qu-24 that we've watched on YouTube: one by A&H, which is far too breezy and makes assumptions that the viewers are experts, "Marlon," who is too specific to his needs and "Rob," who doesn't have enough videos. Making "how to do it" videos is not easy (I've tried with vMix) so I offer my thoughts knowing that the presenters all tried their best.
