Waves Submarine is recently introduced by Waves Audio as one of their new plugins for mixing and home recording. Waves Submarine is a two-octave subharmonic generator plugin, designed for better sound accuracy for musicians and audio producers to use.
Waves Submarine is designed to give its user a better sound experience to do their mixing. It can provide a new dimension of sound—bigger, deeper sub bass to tracks, precision in terms of clarity and with a definite low-end accuracy on sound.
Powered by Waves’ Organic ReSynthesis technology, Waves Submarine has two subharmonic generators. These can deliver harmony and produce subsonic results on any large sound system.
The two sub-generators of Waves Submarine can process different sound sources—kicks, bass, even full busy mixdowns. With this feature, it can also cleanly add more frequencies—up to a full two octaves below the precise frequency range that’s been selected.
Waves Submarine also has the Organic ReSynthesis. This plugin engine can strip the original signal down to its core elements – carrier, pitch, formant, and envelope – processes them individually. Using it, users can creatively reconstruct the audio and add more dimension to create brand new sub frequencies, but still retaining the exact pitch and time of the original signal. The result is deep subharmonic content that is clean and musical and naturally blends with the source.
Key features of Waves Submarine:
- Subharmonic generation plugin powered by Organic ReSynthesis technology
- Two subharmonic generators (Sub -1 and Sub -2) add subs ONE and TWO full octaves below the selected frequency range of the source
- High-precision Frequency Range slider (20–240 Hz) to target precise frequencies
- Drive saturation control to easily glue the added subs into the mix
- Dynamics control to go from short sub transients to longer sustain sub-notes
- Selectable Mono/Stereo control
- Dry/Wet control for parallel mixing
- Zero latency for real-time mixing; SoundGrid-compatible
- Presets by Grammy-winning producers & mix engineers
