As a musician playing traditional Scottish music for Cèilidh dances with my band, the dubious honour of running the sound system and foldback falls to me whilst also playing and sometimes calling the dances. Although I have over 20 years experience of running the old desk I thought it was a good opportunity to get down to brass tacks again and get a thorough understanding of the desk and process.

I'm relatively new to mixing, recording, and live sound. This class was great and really jumpstarted my understanding of my QU6 mixer. It provided a great foundation and I'm looking forward to completing more classes on ProAudio EXP!
Really useful, and honestly, kind of exactly what I needed. Nothing like arguing with chatbots about whether my mixer exists or not to make you appreciate an actual person, with the actual board in front of them, and actual knowledge about what makes it different, walking you through it. I've already watched the whole thing and I'm sure I'll reference it in the future. Loved the calm, thoughtful, very human presentation style. It felt like just hanging out in a studio with someone cool.
