This course was very clearly presented. If you have one of these recorders, you should really get this course. A minor annoyance is that, because the course was produced for DVD, the video is a little blurry when you watch it in full screen mode. It's fine when you watch it on the site' page, though.

I own a Tascam DP 03 SD. I purchased the Tascam DP 03 tutorial before but it was lost when I moved. I repurchased so I would have a refresher course. I onlly wish that it was for the DP03 SD.

Such a good course.
I managed to find my way around some of the Tascam DP-03 8 track recorder. But couldn't be bothered to work my way through the manual. YouTube was of no real use but spending a couple of hours watching David's videos show me how easy it was to access the more advanced features. Well worth every penny, and great for reference purposes.

I am a visual learner, so watching the instructor work the knobs and buttons was better for me than reading the manual. He spoke at a good pace (so I could jot notes) and broke up the material nicely. I was able to record a half-dozen tracks quickly from this DVD lesson.

Easy to understand

It sure did answer lots of questions I had about the DP-03. Nice thing about a DVD is that you can go back over sections until they make sense to you. Trainer obviously put alot of time into making this video and must have made many changes to make it clearer to the student/viewer. Nice pacing and the chapters made sense. Length of DVD just about right as well.

The Tascam DP-03 is my latest piece of recording gear. After I ordered it I immediately ordered the Pro Audio Tutorial DVD. The DVD is like a manual for the unit that comes to life. David is an excellent teacher and the DVD has the feeling of a good friend showing you how to use the unit step by step. He also throws in many recording tips throughout the DVD.I also own the Tascam 2488 neo and the Zoom H4n. I have the Pro Audio DVD for those units too and couldn t be happier with them.I highly recommend these DVDs. In my opinion they are the best out there!
